Seems awfully cheap, but i'd really only be using it at the track to pull the wheels on/off and to pull the tranny on/off.. and maybe some suspension stuff here and there. you guys think this would work? Here are the specs.

Well Ive got an electric impact and that **** hits hard as ****.....so my assumption is it might work well but doubt the battery life is very long.

my buddy has a good snap on 3/8 one. Takes freaking crank pulleys off. Dont ask me how.... There is soon going to be a 1/2 cordless with some sick amount of power...

I use a snap on 18v 1/2 drive electric impact at work all the time. It works great for taking off wheels and other things but dont expect it to remove the pulley bolt in the crank because it wont!

yeh, i have a moroso crank pulley tool and breaker bar for the crank pulley.

I've looked into the craftsman but even at 300 bucks i have trouble spending the money. the snapon is way outta my reach! I am just hoping that this is a quality enough piece(to atleast do what I need it to do) cause the price is really friendly.

those thinks are great for when you dotn have access to an air compressor. and usally have enough tq to remove and tighten anything you need to on your car without over tqing it and breaking it.
i dont usally like buying battery powered tools unless they are a top of the line brand tho cause whats a tool gonna do if the battery is weak and holds charge for 5 min.

i really like regular corded makita impacts. those are pretty good

Makita. And I wouldn't suggest snap-on, most of there stuff is just rebadged, more expensive DeWalt.

I have the Snap-On 3/8 12v and I love it. I used it all year at the races and never had a problem. Get an extra battery pack and you can go all day. Yes you can take out a crank bolt with it on a fresh charge.

great gun, theres a post on this gun in the road race forum. Ive used this thing on everything up to axle nuts, takes em off no prob. Great gun for the price, I gota definitely say this is the best tool ive ever bought. Great for the junkyard.

I use an electric gun (with a chord) at home.. the only problem is that they use big motors and can't get into tight spots like an air one can. You wont have a problem with the amount of power they put out

My snap-on 18v is the best tool in my box along side of my gear wrenches. I bought a Craftsman 18v last year but the damn things broke twice in a week!
