BAR'D GSR B18C1 1994 Civic Hatchback
Bought this car for $4500 a little less than 2 years ago. Im asking exactly what I paid $4500 for the car even though Ive fixed lots of issues and made upgrades. I've probably put 40k miles on it since, and along the way fixed many small issues since it was my only daily driver. I also spent some good money on upgrades. I wanted a hatch that had a B18C1 swapped into it and this car had a fresh B18C1 with Type-R head and LS crank, and had been through the process of CARB certification as well which sold me (hard to find). I'll get some pics up this weekend but posting this now. I'll probably let everyone here have a chance on it before I post to eBay, Craigslist, Auto trader at the end of the month.
The Good...
B18C1 swapped with legit CARB Sticker. Passing smog this week with a brand new catalytic convertor $250 installed last week. Car throws no codes...no check engine light. Has OBD1 P72 ecu so passes smog no problem.
B18C1 block
LS crank
TypeR head
GSR Hydro transmission with no grinds. Has, so I'm told (never opened it up), a new clutch and Fidanza flywheel. Should have 40k miles on it now.
Had a custom 2.5" exhaust installed $350 with stainless MagnaFlow resonator and dyno max super turbo muffler so that it's quiet. Stock manifold.
Has Function Form 2 coilovers.
Has new 205.50.15 Kuhmo tires $375
Car had no AC, so I paid $600 to have AC installed since it's a daily driver. Car has no PS, but I didn't want it as it drives and steers fine for me.
I replaced the rear rotors and pads $80 about 1 year ago. I replaced the starter $110, knock sensor $100, ignition switch $50, ignition lock cylinder $30, water temp sensor $35, fan switch $35, fan $60, and other stuff I forgot over the last year.
The interior is extremely clean - dash, seats, door panels, etc are very nice. The carpet is original but in ok shape, I was going to eventually replace it but it's fine for now since I bought new OEM floor mats $70. Seats are in mint condition Acura Integra seats...Perfect shape.
Carbon fiber hood and Duckbill.
The bad...
The car needs bodywork and paint and I bought it knowing that....I bought it since it had the GSR motor swap with CARB certification. Other than that it's a pretty solid car. As I said I drive this car every day. I planned on keeping it and turboing it but life took over......now I have to get out of the game for a while. Using money for downpayment on new car so no trades please.
Thanks for looking, let me know if you have any questions.

Re: FOR SALE: 1994 Civic CX Hatchback
Been busy....
Expect pics and more info this week.
Will be posting here, ebay, Craigslist and autotrader in order to secure a quick sale. Will probably start at $4k on ebay, looking for $4500 but if can't sell quick $4k will have to do.
