So after a lot of painful consideration the thought has entered my mind that it might be time to sell my baby... The car has been sitting in a garage for the past 2 years now while I've been in school. The last time I had the chance to drive it was a year and a half ago... Here's the scoop, its a 1997 del sol with 7x,xxx miles on it. On the built motor there are only about 2000 miles and I highly doubt even that. I'm not 100% on the actual mileage since its been 1 year since I've seen it. I will find out for anyone that is serious. It is Grenada Black Pearl with the charcoal/black interior. The interior is in perfect condition. The trunk is stripped but I have all the pieces to reassemble it. The pictures posted don't show the new intercooler which is made by turbo elements, the new custom stainless steel intercooler piping, or the Tial BOV. Again, the car is 1800 miles away from me but I will get new pictures as soon as I can get back home. I do have a quaife lsd for the car as well that I never got a chance to put in and will include it for an extra $750. This car is built to be drag car and doesn't make real power until about 4.5k-5.5k. This car is also ready to have the boost turned up and make 400+whp. The only reason it sits at 9lbs and 260whp right now is that is where my project was left before I left for school. It was also tuned at King Motorsports in Milwaukee WI. I have every receipt for every part on the car as well as reciepts for all the labor. All these pictures of the car are 1 1/2 years old. The car sits exactly like this except for the newer parts I've added. The car was also babied and meticulously taken care of. No short cuts were done building this car. I also have a spare y8 block with crank, pistons, rods, etc. that I can include for a little more. New OEM water pump and timing belt were also put in at the time of the build. This car is barely broke in and with a good tune can make 400whp as it sits. It is extremely reliable and a hell of a ride. If the price is right I will include the original block with all internals (perfect condition never saw boost), LSD, and all original parts for the car as well.
Again sorry for the extremely dirty car in the pictures. The car really shines beautifully with only a few small door dings in it. Some of those pictures were taken when I was home visiting for a day and I did not have any time to clean it up. The interior is in perfect condition. It even smells brand new. There are no rips, stains, tears, scuffs, or scratches anywhere. Very Very Very hard to find a del Sol like this that has been taken such good care of and as well put together as this car!
(Motor was built and assembled by a guy who used to build road race Integras and what not for Honda. John also did the transmission work. Like I said, no amateur hour with this car.)

Like I said earlier in the post, this car is ready to make 400whp. All that is needed is a new tune.
The bad: The car has been garaged for the past 2 years. When I left it, it had some compressor surge. Not a major issue if you just retune it an turn up the boost or get a softer spring for the bov. You will need to pick it up. It is not drivable at the moment from being garaged for so long.
WILL ONLY TRADE FOR A 92-95 CIVIC HATCHBACK OR UP TO 00 CIVIC SEDAN. EITHER MUST BE BOOSTED OR SWAPPED. DON'T CARE IF IT IS BUILT OR NOT. MUST BE CLEAN!! ANY OTHER TRADE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED!
I currently live in Miami and the car is located in LaCrosse WI. Just a warning if you would like to figure something out.
Pics are scattered on first page... Sorry. I'll try to get more soon.
Thanks!

More interior pics! Interior is immaculate! Not one scratch, stain, scuff, tear, or anything anywhere! You'll have a very hard time finding a del Sol that is in such amazing condition!!!
