Default 1997 Honda Prelude 5-speed, Mugen Replica

TRADED FOR A 2001 AUDI A6 QUATTRO. Thanks for looking!

I really don't want to sell my prized Prelude, but the wife and I are planning to try for another baby, so I need to get a four door or something with more rear seat capacity.
Here are the details:
H23VTEC (Blue Top 2.3 liter Dual Overhead Cam 16 valve) Swap from Hmotorsonline.com (less than 45k miles)
AEM Cold Air Intake
Polished Skunk2 Pro Intake Manifold
AEM Fuel Rail
AEM Fuel pressure regulator
Hondata Intake manifold gasket
RMF replica 4-1 race header
2.5" mandrel bent exhaust with duraflow resonators
APEXI World Sport 2 N/A muffler
Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
MSD Superconductor Spark Plug wires
Quaife Helical Limited Slip Differential
Stage 5, 3 puck sprung clutch
Heavy duty clutch pressure plate
Hondata S300 engine management with P72 ECU (Laptop Hookup Ready)
Extreme Dimensions Duraflex Type M body kit (Mugen Replica) -molded to the sides, and to the rear bumper.
2006 RSX type S wheels
Falken Azenis W rated tires
OBD2 to OBD1 conversion (for better tuning efficiency)
Genuine Italian leather shift boot
Hard to find Honda OEM all black leather interior.
Replaced front axles
- All parts listed are either new or have less than 5k miles used. The original miles are 125k, with the engine at less than 45k. I have over $4,000.00 invested into this car including the new engine and all the new parts.
CLEAN TITLE AND CARFAX, can email (by request) the most recent Carfax report from this month.
This car has been professionally dyno tuned by DKGoodrich for better performance and fuel economy. The Prelude produced 202 wheel horsepower and 170 wheel torque on a Mustang Dyno, and will still hit 26 mpg highway. Has a recent tune-up. AC has been serviced and recharged by the Honda dealership two months ago and is very cold.
Many more new Parts to list. I also have a built and sleeved H22A4 engine for sale that will bolt into the car directly. The Built engine was designed to withstand over 50 psi of boost pressure with force induction from a turbo system. The Built engine could sell with the car or can be sold separately.
The price of the Prelude is $7500 FIRM. I've lowered the price too much already. Losing over $2000 in the new engine and all the parts.
The price including the High Performance engine is $8500 FIRM. This is a good deal. If you do a little research, you'll find that this engine is worth over $5000.00.
The price of the High Performance engine separately is $2500 FIRM.
If you would like to make an offer, don't be shy! The Prelude and engine are both posted on two forums, so I expect this to sell quickly.
I will consider trading for an E36 M3 sedan, coupe, or similar BMW. If you have any questions just send me a text or call 270-473-0226
If the Prelude doesn't sell at this price soon, I'll keep the car and install the race engine back into the Prelude. I'd rather finish building the Prelude and have a complete project, then to lose several thousands of dollars by trying to sell it all. The price will stay firm until it sells or I decide to keep everything. Thanks!

Well, I know I'm no longer the owner of this beautiful Prelude, but I would like to show you all what I acquired from trading the Prelude.

This is my 1998 BMW M3 Sedan. And it is my dream car. This M3 has everything that I wished the Prelude had: Torque, RWD, Inline 6, rear seat capacity for the little one, fuel efficiency (yes, 28 mpg highway), displacent (3.2 liters), and it's one of the most worldwide respected cars on a road track. Don't get me wrong, though. The Prelude is a fine-tuned and unique sports coupe, and was a car of its own (to me at least). And to compare these two cars on the same level would be immature of me. I'm very satisfied with my decision to essentially trade the Prelude for the M3 (with an AUDI A6 caught in-between trades). I can honestly say that I haven't missed the Prelude as much as I had thought I would. I think it's because deep down inside all I really wanted was more torque and a RWD platform, combined with enough seating capacity to satisfy my family's needs.
