What is this Plug?
I can;t find an answer from any forum for the reason for this plug on my gsr manual trans.
I had to pull it because i had a crack under the plug and ended up just jb welding it instead of removing all the guts and actually aluminum welding it cause I'm not made of money. I;m wondering if it is a secondary drain plug for something because there is a smaller plug higher that it located a few inches closer to the front of the vehicle. I know what the white circles are and i have em filled with honda mtf.
I'm stratching my head because i recently lost a lot of clutch pressure while sitting in a drivethru. Clutch engaged at a stop, I heard a pop and clutch dropped maybe a centimeter. The ride home the clutch felt like oem tension. It is a ACT stage 2 clutch with new throwout bearing less than 6k miles ago.
My first diagnosis was a leaky clutch master cylinder and replaced it with a new slave cylinder as well. After bleeding, clutch may have made slight improvement to the way it was, but I'm still not satisfied. I've seen a few people talking about the springs popping out of the clutch disc. Any input is appreciated. thanks

I have this same question. Posted over here: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-2001-2005-78/transmission-leak-question-picture-2994353/
Can it be removed easily? Is there a seal I can replace to get it to stop leaking?

the upper white circle in the picture is the fill plug, with the transmission level you fill until it comes out. the other larger plug that fits a 1/2inch rachet is not a fill spot so do not fill up to there, it will be way too full.
Depending on the car, (bseries hyrdo tranny) you can drain the fluid and put 2.2 liters of fluid in from the top, where the V.S.S. sensor is (vehicle speed sensor) thats the plug on the top back of the tranny next to the engine mount bracket. you can remove it with a 10mm socket and then just pull straight out and use a funnel to fill.
