transmision identification???

Default transmision identification???

i need help identifyin what tranny i have on my h22.. i looked for the bar code but its not there any more so i was wondering if there was any other way or somthing to look for so i can identify it. i know it has LSD because i burn out and both tires are grabbin. but i want to know exactly what year and car it came out of.

first doing a burn out to see if you have an lsd wasnt the best idea all you had to do is look for the bar, no bar = lsd that simple and you save your tires, second there should be a vin code on the trans that will tell you everything

You probably have a "M2B4" if the transmission has a factory LSD. Look on the bell housing next to the square hole where the dust boot for the fork is and you will see some numbers cast into the case. If it is cast "P16" then you have an H22 transmission. The maincase will also be cast near the axle seal with "P16" for the "M2B4" or it will be cast "PX5" for non OEM LSD H22 models.
