I just bought a h22a and i need to know if its got lsd or not. How do you tell?

 

1. check the tranny code.
2. turn the your steering wheel all the way in one direction while having the car jacked up. then spin one wheel, the other wheel should go the opposite direction. (pretty sure, this is how it goes)

 

Do a burnout, if both wheels spin, you're good.

 

look through the diff.

 

yeah like mmuller said, if you can see all the way through with no bar in the middle then yes its an lsd.

 

well...i checked the tranny code and it said h22a nonlsd tranny. but i looked through the differential and no bar!? I also tried spining one axle and the other axle moved in the same direction. This dosent make sense!? Is the tranny code wrong!!!

 

If it says M2b4, then it has an LSD.

 

yeah true true if you look through the diff (where the axles go) and it's open (no bar) then it's LSD if it has a bar it's not.

 

maby you read it wrong,lol j/k if there's no bar then it's lsd. fact!!!!

 

ok...cool, i guess the guy who owned the engine upgraded to lsd. Only thing that i can think of.
