so... is the tranmission leaking oil or anything? Have you driven aggressively on corners and such? I am having similar problems getting the axles flush on my 97 civic and am wondering if it's okay to leave the axles not flush to the tranny.

there is no oil leaking i measured the inside of the trans where the axle goes and it is shorter than the end on the axle. my friend just bought a motor with a trans and the inside of his trans is the same way so i guess its fine. it drives fine.
