Mix & Match GSR/b16/LS differential
Have a transmission, b-series hydraulic, which I don't know which it is exactly. Opened to count gears and see how its condition.
While searching I think I have a weird mix/match of GSR/B16.
Gearing match with GSR:
42/13=3.23
38/20=1.9
34/25=1.36
30/29=1.034
26/33=0.788
66/15=4.4
Doesn't know if any B16 or LS have this same gearing.
Differential stamped PS1 which correspond to B16 & LS, but R/G have 1 line as supposed to GSR (according to my research here).
>Appart, ball bearings with no shims.
>It is noticeable that the differential have been rubbing the housing.
>Scratches on counter shaft surface where it mates with clutch hoising bearings.
>Shift holder assembly had been repaired/welded.
>The is one missed synchro spring.
Please help. See pics on next post.

Re: Mix & Match GSR/b16/LS differential
Definitely is 109mm. So a B16 FD and differential.
What suggestion? Swap a GSR FD and LSD?
Any thread with the correct instructions on which differential bearings and how to check clearance and shim?
