b16/ls/gsr tranny compatability
whitch one of these trannys could parts be swaped in to (lsd) without modification?
for example: i have an ls tranny and an lsd for it, i want to know whitch tranny out of the two (gsr/b16) can i use my ls differential on without modification. thanks guys

LS/B16 transmissions use the same size diff small diameter 4 and 3 thousenths.
GSR uses the bigger diff 4 and 6 thousenths.

so it is ok to take a ls diff in a b16 tranny? is there any exeptions to this as far as brand or any of that? thanks.

Yes to the 1st question. And as far as brands, I would just double check part numbers before you order. A GSR shoudl not fit a B16.
