Default Mfactory lsd gsr clicking?

So i have the mfactory lsd set up with the 2 new conversion bearings provided by synchrotech with the speed gear. After i put the lsd in the case it spins smoothly counter clockwise but clockwise it spins freely but with a clicking sound. I suspect its the speedometer gear as it moves up and down slightly.

Also where does this ring go? It came with the bearing conversion kit. Btw everything is new

How to Convert from Taper to Ball Bearings on Hydro GSR and Type R Transmissions - Honda-Tech
Here is the link with instructions. The spacer ring goes in the top case. Remove the speed sensor and install the shim then check again for the noise.
