m2a4 tranny lsd problem tore apart and found this ???
I have an m2a4 with lsd from tiger direct, i had a pooping noise changed everything out externally and now i am in the tranny, i have it pulled appart and found this piece of metal on the magnet, does it look familiar to any of you guys, looks like there should be more,

Yep that would be a broken, mangled synchro spring. Look at the brass synchros and you can figure out where it came from.

My LSD has large bore hole plum thru so I say its Oem put in the a4 because it came from tiger already installed

Ugh dude, hate to break it to you, but a B4 LSD aint going in a A4 (or any other non B4 case) case sir.
Period.
The B4 case is specifically bigger across for th e larger OEM diff ;O)
The LSD "binding" if it IS in a A4 case is because, well... ITs in a A4 case.
You dont just go throwing diffs in trannys without checking preload, and that one... Well. That one wont Ever work.
Period.
