Default LSD Indentification!

Ok I ordered a 96 JDM SIR-G tranny with LSD. I expected to find a "LSD" stamp on the casing. However there was none. It got me thinking, could this be a LS transmission with a LSD in it? It's tagged S80. Well can you guys tell if this is a OEM factory LSD? As well anyone here with a SIR-G transmission with LSD? Did yours come stamped? Thanks HT!!! Just want to make sure I didn't get ripped off !!

that looks like a LSD diff.

if it was an open diff you would not be able to see through the hole.

now weather or not if it's an LS tranny or SIR tranny you would probably have to install it and drive it.
