lsd gsr trans multiple problems??
Ok, to start off the trans is a gsr with, I believe, a OBX lsd; considering there is no LSD stamp on the transmission casing, that led me to believe its an aftermarket lsd. On to the problems...
First off, I took my car for a test drve today, when I got back I noticed a constant dip from the inspection plate area (the black plate that covers the bottom back-side of the flywheel, right where the transmission and motor meet on the bottom). Now, all the oil in the car was new, unused oil but what lead me to think it was transmission fluid was that the oil on the ground was room-temperature and still clean looking. So I'm thinking it might be that main seal that goes around the main shaft?
Second, I've always had a problem getting it into gears 2 and 3. Always kind of figured it was bad sincro's but now with the transmission back in the car the shifter inside has no difference in feeling between gears 1 and 3. Example, when driving the car shifting from 2nd to 3rd feels the same as down shufting from 2nd to 1st; possible a bent or broken shift fork?
Any input at all would be much appreciated. I will also be pulling the transmision back out and taking it apart to find out whats wrong. I will be taking a bunch of photos so I canget other peoples input considering i dont know what to be looking for besides the obvious.

I would think that maybe the 1 and 2 syncro/hub/sleeve and 3 and 4 syncro/hub/sleeve and selector with syncros may need to be replaced. I've seen people just replaced syncros only but over look the whole sleeve and hub assembly thinking that only replacing syncros will fix the problem. But you need to disassemble the trans to check the forks if they are bent to compare with a known good one if your unsure.
is bad but what usually goes bad about them? What will I be looking for?
I'll be pulling the trans tomorrow, hopefully, and tearing into it the following day. What would happen if the shift fork were bent/broken?
