Default Help please

1990 honda civic, manual.

problem

when i pull up the clutch when it is in neutral it makes a pff sound

could this be a problem with the release bearing, or a bearing or seal in the transmission

any advice would be great

thanks

no problem. If you buy a new clutch kit it should come with both bearings.

more info is needed.

I doubt the throwout bearing is at issue, I've only seen ONE bad Honda TOB in 10 years, but close to a hundred bad input shaft bearings.
