help with install of the ball bearing on top of the mainshaft
hey im helping my boy put the ball bearing back onto his b16 hydro trans but we dont know how far down its supposed to go? its the ball bearing that sits right on top of the mainshaft when u take the case off. is it supposed to sit right on top of the stopper ring? or will it just stop on its own? we used a piece of wood and a mallet to tap it down n it goes down nice n smooth. ive looked at the helms manual a billion times (well maybe 3 times) and it doesnt say how far down its supposed to go. thanks were trying to get his car ready for the weekend

the part of the mainshaft that the bearing sits on didnt have any scars or was discolored. is the bearing supposed to go a certain side up? i was looking at the helms for a gsr and it didnt say anything.
