Flywheel Install problem
I am trying to install this flywheel I bought off someone onto my b20b. I was told the Flywheel was the stock b20 flywheel. When I bought the motor it just came with the block and the drive plate behind the flywheel as well as that smaller washer with the 8 holes in it.
So I unbolted all the 12 point bolts, than tried to install my flywheel with the bolts. Turns out the bolts were to short, apparently they are for a automatic transmission. Off to honda I went and bought the the ones for a manual transmission. After putting the bolt through the flywheel washer and plate. I still have no thread left to thread into the block. These bolts were even probably a 1/4 inch longer than the others.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong. It seems like the flywheel might be too thick. Maybe I was sold the wrong flywheel?

Whoa wait a sec, are you trying to bolt all three of those on? If you are using the mt flywheel than only the flywheel and longer bolts are used. The automatic flexplate and washer are not used.
Oh
That would explain why the bolts are not long enough. I was looking at a parts diagram and it showed all 3 of them being bolted together. I must of misinterpreted it.
Thanks.
