difference between 4.4 and 4.928 final in 1/4

Default difference between 4.4 and 4.928 final in 1/4

i'm using the stock 96 spec ITR tranny now with the stock 4.4 final drive, and i was wondering if anyone can calculate the time difference in the 1/4 if i switch to the 4.982 final...motor is stock tuned on s300 making 170whp if that helps....any help is appreciated, i would most likely be ordering it from MFactory, thanks

Graph your trans out. You can use your trap speed and the graph of the two transmissions to get an idea.

on the Mfactory website you can see the MPH effect on the 2 different FD. Look back at how your car reacts on the 1/4 mile and what gear your usually ending and what rpm/mph.
