Default Clutch problems!! Help

Hey guys so two days ago i was driving my car and felt that my clutch was acting all weird and stuff. Then today i go to drive it and it doesnt want to go into gear!! So thats when i realize that my clutch pedal has about 2-3 inches of freeplay before i actually push the clutch in! also, to get my car into gear i have to pump my pedal about 5 times and then it will go into gear. And sometimes when i push the pedal in all the way, its up against the floor....and the clutch still hasnt been fully pushed in If anyone knows what i can do to figure out what the problem is or help that would be great!! Thanks. And BTW when i first bought my car in may, the clutch pedal used to stick a little bit. then after a while it stopped....i didnt mess with it. And its a stock d16y8 with a s40 transmission. Thanks again for any help you guys!

Check for leaks in the line, if there isn't leaks its the master cylinder or slave cylinder.

hey so now i cant drive my car. The clutch wont engage, and there is no pressure at the clutch petal. I stopped at a stop light and then i couldnt get the car into gear. Is it just the slave cylinder, or should i buy both the master and slave?? Thanks guys!

It would be best to buy both so you dont have to do it later. Plus they are pretty cheap.

check the firewall behind the clutch pedal, if it is wet with brake fluid, replace master cylinder.

Hey thanks guys, well i did. i checked it last night and it had little fluid there. So i ordered a new master cylinder. But the squeaking noise that i said earlier it seemed to come from the slave cylinder, since it was coming from the front of the car while i was pumping my clutch. So should i just get one of those also?
