every morning i seem to have the same problem. the clutch pedal of my car feels loose and the gear wont work. but this happens when i have the engine on, the gears work fine when the engine is turned off. what is the problem with my car?

Sounds like a problem with the slave or master cylinder, but you didn’t say what car, year etc.
