sqweeky clutch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Driving round today in my ej8.................. the clutch started to sqweek, kinda loud. Whats the problem and how bad is it?

is it a stock clutch? because mine makes a really loud squeaking noise on 1st gear but its a stage3 exedy on a b16, but its perfectly fine and it grabs really hard until 4th gear.

ive had them squeak before, but it always sounds like its coming from the slave cylinder. 3 civics, 1 accord and 1 toyota pickup all the same thing

buy a new clutch kit if your are going to open your tranny. my eg used to do the same thing. you could see the fork moving where it met the slave. if i put tension on the clutch it would stop. sounded like a bad belt. i think it might be a throwout bearing. also inspect the fork. mine was damaged at the pivot causing it to brake during a hard shift. hope this helps. good luck

How does one go about getting on of those forks that the throw out bearing sit on? I don't even know what you call it, and I am guessing it's a dealer part huh?
