Hi, I recently finished a B16 swap on my 91 CRX. I am having a problem with second gear. When making sharp right turns I can not shift into second, or if I am in second when making the turn it will pop out of gear. Any ideas on what could be the problem, and possible solutions?

 

stock shifter? has the tranny been apart recently?

 

Make sure your shifter has no interference first off.

I've seen this a many a few times and the culprit ends up being the snap ring bearing on the counter shaft. Excess play in the bearing allows the shaft to move, and pull you out of gear/prevent you from going in.
