Zex Nitrous=bad???

they are saying stock your car will run 16's stock, which is probably about right (btw, i'm ligger on there). remember STOCK is the key word
hondata are from NZ, and it's the yank who's slating the US parts. and the best honda parts are NOT all US made, if it were a choice between japan and the US, i know which i'd choose

They said high 16 stock. I ran a 16.2 completely stock. 15.9 with bolt ons. They tried to tell me a 125 shot is only good for 14's in my car. Thats such bullshit, a car that weights 2550lbs with 250whp is going to go faster than 14's. At least half if not more of the good parts come from the US. The other half come from Japan and maybe Germany. I have never used an aftermarket part from England. Lets go through some of the parts on my car.
AEM CAI, Fuel Rail, FPR, Fuel Filter, Cam gear = US
DC Sports 4-1 = US
Holley 255lph fuel pump = US
Tanabe Exhaust = Japan
H&R Springs = Germany
Zex Kit = US
SRP Pistons = US
Eagle Rods = US
ACL bearings = Australia
Golden Eagle blockguard = US
ARP head studs = US
ARP rod bolts = US
Hondata in New Zealand? There webpage says their headquarters is in Torrance California.

You are right, but there isn't anything special about their kit really.

so the parts on your car are the best in the world then?
i don't have any US made parts on my car, so what!
hondata/doug macmillan are definately from NZ

What size of jet and what engine are you guys running with ZEX?? I'm thinking to buy the ZEX dry kit I have got B16, should I stay with the 55bhp or is it possible to go up to 75bhp jet, I've 255 fuel pump, vafc and fpr to back up the fuel system.

No, all the parts on my car aren't the best in the world, my point is you Brits talk alot of **** considering nearly all the quality parts do come from the US or Japan. I'm not trying to say England sucks or anything, but you guys have no respect for our parts and do nothing but bad mouth them, truth be told, look where all the big manufacturers are of parts used in professional drag racing.
Doug Macmillan may be from New Zealand, but that doesn't mean his company is a New Zealand Company. They're headquarters is in Torrance California.
The quality of pulsoids and progressive controller huh? The so called "soft hit". I noticed someone on the Highpower site who was dissappointed with their dyno. They made a whopping 16whp with that kit and a 50 shot. I guess I would call that a soft hit.

Yeah, I'll buy one of their QUALITY kits, maybe I can make 40whp with a 150 shot.

absolute bollocks. drag racing is such a minority activity here (<10 strips for 60 million people) that there is never going to be a market for it, aside for a few specialist applications. the point was that the highpower kit is superior to the US kits, not any other parts etc.

so they are from NZ and they moved to the biggest market, still kiwis.

and no one has EVER been disappointed with any other n2o kit EVER.
and there couldn't possibly be anything wrong with the setup at all
the soft hit, as you well know, allows you to run a higher shot overall just like an infinitely variable stage system
i guess the experiences of myself and everyone else count for nothing, eh?

Who are you to criticize the US kits?

What about my experiences with the Zex kit? I suppose they don't count because it's made in the US.
