Zero Compression Results
Got a motor from a guy and he said it came out of a running car. Its a 2000 b16 and when i went to start it up, it sounds like theres no compression like the spark plugs were removed. the motor turns over but doesnt have any compression. Did a compression test and all cylinders came up 0. I checked for spark and fuel and theres spark and fuel. could it be bent valves? could it be a blown head gasket? i took off the head today and the bottom end seems fine but is there a way to tell if the valves are ment without taken them out of the head. by looking at them, the valves are seated normally

Just pour some solvent in the combustion chambers with the head upside down and see if the solvent leaks past the valve seats.
