Default z10 3 main girdle for ls/vtec

I was wondering if anyone had any expierience with it? I also wanted to know what kind of main bolts i need to get and if i can do it with the motor in the car. I sent them 2 emails and still have no reply. I just wanted some added security before i turbo my ls/vtec, i figure if it came stock in a gsr, there must be some correlation to it and high revving. so please post if you have any expierience.

Their website says you need gsr oil pan, windage tray, oil pickup, and main bolts, but dont you have to have the block align honed to fit gsr main bolts in? it says nothing of that in the instructions, and the instructions are worded in such a way that you just jack the car up and do it with the motor in the car. someone please help cause i want to get one but not if its gonna mess my car up more then it will help. here are the instructions http://www.z10eng.com/pdf/LS%20BG%20Install.pdf

yeah u have to get it align bored etc....i doubt u can do it with the engine in the car, because they have to use micrometers etc at the machine shop to get those numbers exact.

im doing a 450whp ls vtec turbo, not using a girdle, i was thinking about it, although things dont get that bad.
many of my buddys run 500whp plus ls vtec withotu girdle...

they are good.

if you really wanna girdle, im sure the block must be out the car. and looking at about 400 bucks without the girdle for install.

well i have emailed them 2 times with in the past month and gotten no reply, there were some people thta used it and didnt use gsr main bolts, but im not sure that would be any better then just using them without getting it aligned, it felt pretty good, just scared teh crap out of me to see it that high and i want to be safe. especially when the turbo goes on
