LS/VTEC Girdle question
Ok, this is my first B sries build all others been H22's. I am building an LS/VTEC B18B with a GSR head, eagle rods, JE turbo pistons, and block guard. I want to add a gsr girdle to the lower end. How exactly is this done? I also know I need the GSR pan, oil pump pickup, and windage tray. Someone told me I have to do some minor machining to mae it fit. Should I use the GSR main caps with the gsr bolts or LS main caps with GSR bolts. Please be as exact as you can with your replies, pics would be great also. Thanks.
Here is a nice write-up on using a GSR girdle:

I used the Endyn unit, which requires less work - it fits over the stock LS caps, you just need to have them drilled for the dowels (and then align hone it of course).

Thanks for the link. I was what I was looking for. I didnt say which bolts are used the LS or GSR girdle bolts, I assume it would be gsr because of the added hight of the girdle. Thanks again.
