Default Y7 trans rebuilt, no 1st/2nd

Y7 trans.

Rebuilt with:

SRR 4.7 ring gear and countershaft
Z6 mainshaft and (countershaft) 2nd gear
ZC 3rd gear

After assembling the countershaft the reverse synchro sleeve would not move.

Took apart and reassembled. Now it will only move very slightly. Synchro springs are not jammed or bent (one was bent, replaced it).

Any ideas?

Check 5th-reverse synchro sleeve for damage and for proper right side-up orientation. I replied in your post on the RM forums...see there for more detail.
