Default math for checking gears

Here is the math for checking your gear/final combo
1st gear
Sohc--3.250*4.437= 14.42025
SI--3.250*4.25= 13.8125
Dohc--3.250*3.88= 12.61
Dx--3.250*3.88= 12.61

2nd gear
Sohc--1.894*4.437= 8.403678
SI--1.894*4.250= 8.0495
Dohc--1.944*3.88= 7.54272
Dx--1.894*3.88= 7.34872

3rd gear
Sohc--1.259*4.437= 5.586183
SI--1.259*4.25= 5.35075
Dohc--1.346*3.88= 5.22248
Dx--1.259*3.88= 4.88492

4th gear
Sohc--0.937*4.437= 4.157469
SI--0.937*4.25= 3.98225
Dohc--1.033*3.88= 4.00804
Dx--0.937*3.88= 3.63556

5th gear
Sohc--0.771*4.437= 3.420927
SI--0.771*4.25= 3.27675
Dohc--0.878*3.88= 3.40664
Dx--0.771*3.88= 2.99148

so are you trying to find out if you have a DOHC ZC or a SOHC ZXi, without opening the trans, correct?
