Alright so I am building my b18c and I went to plastiguage the main bearings today and wow what a surprise. They didn't even squish the plastiguage at all so thats means either a. the bearings are wrong or b. the crank is wrong.. so my question is what size should acl bearings be in thickness for this crank and also what should the main journal's measure out to be? Are LS main journals smaller? Jw if maybe the guy I bought it from sent me the wrong one.. Please help so I can get this back together. THanks

 

Sounds like the crank has been reground undersize.Mains should be about 2.165",rods 1.771".

hmm odd she measured out to 2.164 and the bearings at about 2.162-2.163 so now I am stumped. Would stretched main bearing bolts be the cause now?
