wrinkle wall paint does NOT require primer.... dont ask me how!!!
******* bullshit....
here is the story, i just have to rant.
i bought a spare B16 valve cover to have chromed or polished (still debating)....
but after i got it, i saw that it had MANY scratches and was not worth chroming...
so i decided to REPAINT it, and use my stock valve cover as the donor to the chromer...
i go to kregan to get wrinkle wall paint, which i find...
but the old ****** tells me to get a primer, (which i THOUGHT was fishy...due to the heat, blah blah blah.... which i also asked him about)
so i ended up getting the primer too.
i sandblasted, then primed..... looks good....
time for wrinkle paint,
bam..... goes on perfect....
starts to wrinkle, looks good, cant even see the scratches....
then i read that you should bake for 15 minutes
i did it for 10, and YUCK, the wrinkles took the primer right with it.
maybe i was high off of paint fumes....
but this **** looked bad.
back to the sandblaster and one more can of wrinkle wall, this time with no primer.
hope it works.
