Hey guys, just doing finishing touches on my swap only to find out that the tranny won't shift into 5th or reverse..it shifts into 1st through 4th though. First we thought the shift linkages were installed wrong, but they are on right. Any idea what could be causing this?

Y21 in a EK using GSR shift linkages.

Bent shift fork, and/or another little piece in the tranny... Sorry, I don't know what it's called by name...

5th and Reverse are on the same fork, so they usually go out together.

 

OR because its a swap your shift linkage could be hitting somthing.
check that first.
