Default Wonky Idle

Whenever I turn on my car, I let it warm up a bit then drive it. But for the first 10mins or so when I drive it, whenever I stop though, the idle drops to like 200rpm. After that whenever I stop it idles at ~500rpm. Whats the deal?? I replaced the cap, rotor and wires and it still does this!! Any ideas?

If it does this ALL the time then it's something related to the idle system. Like the fast idle valve. Or maybe your idle speed just needs to adjusted upwards.

Where's it located?
I believe that's car-specific. It's usually on the firewall. It'll have an inlet vacuum tube and an outlet vacuum tube.

mine does the same thing when it gets warmed up, but mine started after I put underdrive pulleys on. I even tried tightened the idle controller and it worked for about a week and then was back to the low rpm thing again.

I'd help you out if I knew. Best thing is probably to pick up a cheap manual like Haynes... it'll at least show a pic and give some general instructions on how to adjust it. Even better would be to pick up a Helms manual, but they're expensive. Sorry I'm not more help.
