Default Wiring Harness Compatability

ok i am planning to put a b16 into my 93 civic vx(obd 1). However, i noticed that it has the 5 wire o2. if i use the o2 and the vx harness on my b16, will the stock p28 throw a code? any help is appreciated. thanks

it should not throw a cel. o2 reading is an o2 reading either way u put it. use ur harness

yea, i was not sure because the ex/si harness has the 4 wire o2 and i am gonna use the vx (5 wire o2) harness. i just don't want to throw a code.

the o2 sensor reads the exhaust and sends the voltage to the ecu. if the car had no code before there should be no problem
