Default Wiring Fog Lights

Not sure if this is the right forum for this so i apologize if it's not. I have some after market fog lights that did not come with a relay. i want to install the relay but i'm not sure where it goes. The wiring harness that came with the lights (PILOT) doesn't look like i can throw a relay in there somewhere. Do the lights and power wire get connected to the relay and then the ground and switch? i have no clue. this is going on a 97 Honda Civic HX.

i would say ground is direct to the ground and the relay is in the middle of the fogs and the power source (just tap into the headlight power wire) will only turn on with car

i really want to avoid wiring them to the headlights. i only want to use them when i really need them. (Fog) i know the style is to have them on whenever the headlights are on but i really just wanna use them when needed. i prefer to control them with a seperate switch.

Hook up the lights to the relay. Then hook the power wire that has the fuse in it from the relay to your power source (battery). From the relay, you'll wire the wires for the on/off switch. Some relays have a ground pin, USE IT!! If your switch has a ground switch, USE it, if it doesnt but the wiring harness that came with the lights has one, skip it. it won't hurt. besiddes theres nothing for you to ground if the switch doesn't have the pin.
