my car came with daytime running lights i want to use them asfog lights and control them with a switch

-right now when the healights are off the fog lights are on
-when i turn on the headlights the fogs go off

-I want to control the fogs regardless of the headlights


here is a wiring diagram, can i just put a switch on pink and everything will work?or will the control module cut power when the headlights come on ?

 

You'll need a new power source for the fog lights since overriding the daytime running light relay is a PITA.
