If you cut J1 on say a chipped P28 (just for reference) all it does is deactivate the ROM... Then it would just run the original SOHC mapping/parameters... It has nothing to do with when the main microprocessor takes over... Latez

Ok, people. Read this thread over and over.

Just as Kataku has stated. KS Code 23 will NOT affect VTEC functioning!
