Default will i pass cali emissions wit I/H/E????

i have a 2001 prelude (non-sh) and got a ticket for exhaust & the cop poped my hood. he took pix of everything and wanted me to go to a state referee . will i pass with aem cai, dc headers, and greddy evo exhaust? i also have a vafc and was wondering if i should put the vtec up at 7000 rpm in order to reduce emissions. what exactly do they do to test ur car for emissions n e ways?

I don't know why the cop was taking a picture of your car for. Maybe he liked it but the aem cai should have an exempt stinker on it and the dc headers has a plate welded on that has the exempt code on it. I have had the same I/H/E on my car and it passed emissions. But about the vafc I've never had to pass with one but I would set all the settings back to stock to be on the safe side. You should also check up on the laws about the exhaust before you go because I though they were legal has long as it was within the legal decibels and the evo is.

you should pass...the intake and header are both CARB legal...and the exhaust shouldnt matter as long as its not to loud and the you have a cat.
