Need some help.. I recently tightend my throttle cable because there was a bit too much lag... I think by doing so my idle is too high.. The odd thing is if I'm just crusing and come to a complete stop, the idle is normal where it should be around 600-700.. but if I am stuck in traffic or in a parking lot just slightly nudging my car along ever so slowly and then come to a complete stop, sometimes my car will idle at around 1100-1500... If I press the gas it revs up and then revs back down to normal idle around 6-7 hundred.. now sometimes even when i tap the gas it doesn't go back down to normal idle... anyone have idea on why this is happening? I guess it could be the throttle cable is too tite but ift hats the case then why wouldnt it always idle this high? TIA.

fresh idle: it is located on the bottom of the throttle body. do u have htat?
if not u may need it. if not u can manualy adjust the idle by turning the screw on the thorttle body.
