Default Wideband not reading............

Hi guys, I just installed an AEM wideband A/F gauge in my CRX. It seems to work fine when I hit about 4000 rpm but it only flat lines between 1000-4000 rpm. i'm running a chipped ODB0 ecu with high compression pistions. I also just installed a Fields hyper SFC. Is it a case that im running lean at that point or something with the gauge. Any info is well appreciated.

What do you mean it flat lines? Pegged rich or lean?

I would go back over the wiring. It's really pretty simple. Power to the gauge, ground, the plug for the sensor, and the 1v output to the ecu.
What kind of A/F's are you seeing at start up? Is it fluctuating?
I know from personal experience that if you do not have the sensor plugged in, the gauge tends to sway pretty much at 14.5-14.9. When connected properly, you should see the ecu adjusting for proper A/F ratio at idle.
