CTR PISTONS VS ITR PISTONS

why does alot of ppl choose to use the ctr pistons instead of the itr for all motor setups im not saying every1 but a couple of ppl i kno choose ctr over the itr pistons.

just wanna kno why

I think it could be because people build they're motors how they want them..why jump on a bandwagon when building up your motor?

Also

CTR pistons have higher compression.
