Where to get Ecu chipping software/programs
I want to start burning my own chips, I was wondering if anyone knew of where to get the programs to start out.
there must be some sort of kit out there with a CD-ROM with all the programs on it or something.

Probably with that is that they are all basically licensed for non-commercial use. So you would be opening yourself up to legal action tuning anyone but your own's car.
I'm sure Blake (uberteg) would sell you a commercial license however.

ok it doesnt have to be CD, but it was just an example..
as far as license yeah there probably is one...i was wondering i there were kits out there for starting up. license or not.. uberdata or whatever that one is, im not very familiar with and im not sure about it, not saying its bad. its something to look into.
I mean I could do hondata if i wanted to get crazy with my own programs and whatnot.

Looks like you need to do a lot more research, it only takes damaging one customers car to ruin a hard-earned reputation.
Who do you have doing the tuning?

oh i know how that goes, trust me, ruining someones car cause of a bad tune is the quickest way to a bad reputation...
but we are getting off topic, i guess my question is answered, there isnt a kit...
i guess i have to get the hondata dealer programs and go from there if i want to do it right...
and ill be doing the tuning....mostly on my guys cars first then if i want to tune customers car maybe i will get into that, all depends on how quick we get the dyno
