Well the vtec doesn't nail me into the seats... but i can tell when it engages... and i am guessing it is my shitty tires, because they do spin, lol..... and it pissed me off... i want traction up there..

and it doesn't do it all the times.... depends on the road surface and weather conditions i guess

Maybe he just has a factory freak with a really agressive cam and timing setting.

Or there was oil on the road.

Ah no... i am not new to driving a car or a 5spd at that... i have only had my car for a couple of months and i don't know if it has a cam in it or not... all i know is when i got it, it had an intake....

i got a d16y8 which is not by any means a fast car or a high HP engine... but i am pretty sure i know wheel spin when it happens

If you're going to call someone "retarded", then at least know how to spell it right. It kind of makes one think who's really the retarded one ...

so many ways to make a tires spin. usually if the road is wet. u have crap tires. or u got sum serious hp under the hood which i doubt. cuz i have a turbo in my 99 ex and it dont spin tires only if its rain. maybe when i change my clutch ill be able to do that. even though thats not a smart thing to do. then again it could be the way u driving the car

no it wasn't on dirt... that would spin like hell thought... gives me an idea of something fun to do in my truck though.... but it was on pavement.... uphill a little on my street... that could have done it

My boy had ad16y8 that would spin the wheels in first but it also had a turbo charger on it. I had one w/o vtec and a supercharger and that would spin the factory wheels. Are you sure yours doesnt have a turbo?

why would it suddenly start spinning the tires...after you have had it for a while? as stated vtec does not kick that hard on sohc's...post up you mods so that we can have a better idea as to what's going on. or toss up some videos of it doing it. i would like to see a y8 that pops vtec and spins the tires all the way to 6600.
