Sounds like it could be the TOB, clutch fork, slave cylinder or disk itself.
Try pulling the shield off to see if you see any debris in there..

In my 92 Hatch Si D16 sohc vtech I have the same clutch as unjockable....The only difference is that it grinds when I go into reverse. I'm hoping it's not the tranny...Im right with you unjockable. Ha. Same question...Is it the tranny?
Pull it off and find out.
More than likely, you ate a clutch disk. Sounds like it. If it won't go into gear, it's either the disk, the moveing parts that move the pressure plate, or your flywheel bolts backed out.
I saydisk. Only takes 35 minutes to take the tranny off. Pull it!

should i just go buy a new clutch? do you think it fucked up my tranny? that's the thing i really want to know. rather buy a clutch then a tranny.

That is why I asked that above to see if the internals in the transmission are good.
When the car is on, the clutch, main shaft and counter shaft are spinning and the synchros are needed to match in order to put it into gear.
TOB = Throw Out Bearing. When you push on the clutch that is what pushes on the pressure plate to disengage the clutch plate.
I would pull open the tranny and such and inspect it. Sounds like the clutch or the throw out bearing is toast.
