what are your ls/vtec or b20 vtec setups?
what cams would bring the best power for an all-motor ls/vtec w/b16a head? what would the redlines be? the car will be a daily driver so stg3's are no option. how much more power will individual throttle bodies give? i want to do a relatively cheap build. i've searched for ls/vtecs and they will bring about 190-210 whp depending on how crazy the build. give me your setup and hp #'s
You are not going to build a cheap frank motor.

I got a little over $6k in mine, but that includes a nitrous kit and tranny overhaul.

i made around 203-206 with a 1.8 ls-vtec but it was on the crazier the trick is compression and a good head...

If you're gonna run more than ctr cams you're gonna need to do some valvetrain work. Ctr's are good for about 170-180 depending on other parts and the tuning, but if you want to hit 200 you're gonna have to go skunk2 or jun in stg/type 2 along with beefing up the valvetrain and adjustable cam gears.
