Dont know what type 1.6 this os. Need help diagnosing no start issue. Looks like compression issue. Belt turns but just make whining noise. Need help dont know much.

as far as I know it is a 1.6 bored to 1.8. Turbo charged. I was into it in 2nd and after a pop it sounded like a belt was flapping but visible belts are intact.

If you provide head code, and block code we can go places. But than again this seems to be a built up block so it could be anything at this point.

 

Thanks for getting into this with me guys. Learning as I go. This was my bros cat and I'm trying to keep her alive. It's a b16a2. Not sure where to find head code. A line also popped off when it blew. I was into 2nd and it lost power. Sounded like a belt was whipping as I rolled to a stop bit can't be sure. Here is a pick of the hose.
I meant car. And it's the small hose under the pipe.

 

B16a2. This is the hose that popped off if that helps. Small hose under intake manifold.
