Default What size to re-thread D block threads

While I was installing my clutch I accidentally stripped the threads on the engine block of my D16A6.
The bolt (size 12x65) that connects the transmission to the block (as pictured numbered 22), is just spinning. So, I was just going to drill it out and tap it a larger size, but I was wondering if anyone knows what size I should use.
Thanks

check out m12x1.25....thats the thread pitch of the bolt that secures the engine and tranny together.

Why not just buy the correct tap kit with the size I listed and try to slightly re-tap the threads? you might be able to correct them.

if not then try to re-drill with a larger diameter bolt and re-thread it(but not too large as it might weaken the mounting area

helicoil is what you need to use, they will with stand anything, I have either 3 or 4 on my turbo manifold.

Im using this product for the first time, and I was hoping someone would let me know if Im ordering the right item.
So, I was going to get the Heli-coil thread repair kit part #HCMKF 5405-12 (M12x1.25)

Is this the correct part to re-install a M12x1.25 bolt, or

is this to install a M12x1.25 Heli-coil to be installed with a smaller inside diameter (eg. M10x1.25) bolt?

Oh yeah, Im going to install a new M12x1.25 bolt and discard the stripped bolt.
LMK Thanks
