Default what to plug o2 sensor hole with?

i read this somewhere but I can't seem to find it now.. what do I cover up the hole in the cat with then I remove the o2 sensor? i think it was an oil dran bolt, but I want to make sure. thanks

Yah i did the same! Just any kind of Bolt will work fine.

If you use one of them magnetic oil drain plugs it will catch all the tiny metal fragments before they go BLASTING out the back of the exhaust and injure some innocent pedestrians!

Honda oil drain bolt is not the right size. The thread width is correct but the diameter is wrong.

So what size bolt fits? ANd does it make any difference with or without a 02 sensor?

There's a company in the UK called BTB exhausts who sell both mild steel and stainless steel 02 bungs, they're about $5 each

All oxygen sensor bosses are the same. Domestic and import.

i've used a radiator fan thermoswitch couple different times. same size. if you have one laying around works just as good as a bolt.
