The biggest upgrade will be the NOS kit it will probably provide you with the most bang for buck performance.

d-series motors dont really react well to bolt-ons. whatever you get you are going to flip out. my friend felt more from cutting an a/c belt than he did from a DC 4-2-1 header.

Slap a turbo on it and call it good. You won't notice much of anything with a cam, or pulley set on that motor. Trust me, I have that motor.

No it doesn't. I own one. It won't move until you feed it like 8 psi. Without at least a cam, springs, high comp pistons, and rods that engine is slow without boost. Sorry. I have done everything possible to mine and nothing makes it fast besides boost.

I would buy the bullfrog set up... Throttle body, head assembly with the larger cam, and computer.

if you want to go NA get the head package like what exsopeed offers
cams and head package should be done all in one shot if you can afford it.

n/a on a sohc IMO is worthless and will leave your pockets empty!! you can only do so much to it before you reach it's limits. and even after that, you still won't be as fast as someone with a dohc swap eg. if you're gonna stick with that motor, i'd place my wallet on the nitrous or turbo.

Glad to hear that some one else wants to do some things to their sohc honda. I have a few questions of my own as to who sells cams for sohc motors, as well as headers that don't cost an arm and a leg. does any one use pacesetter exauhst, and if some one does how is it holding up.

I was thinking of crower cams. But i think i'm going to save up my money for a drag 3 turbo kit or a greddy one.
