what is c32a?
Hmm....isn't that the Acura NSX motor?
He's lying to you. Unless he's incredibly rich and has the skillz and means to do the work. With $$$ anything's possible.

yea he says he has a c32a block with d16z6 head... some 1 explain this setup 2 me, scince im not familiar with honda, i wanna know out of with car are these from
Alright, here's some info.
The C32A6 is a 3.2L DOHC V6. So it's a V motor and it's DOHC. So that tells you alone that a SOHC D16 head cannot possibly fit on it.
BUT...there is the C32A6 and A5 which were on the SOHC non-Vtec V6 Legends. But those were still V6's and unless he magically found some way to put two D16 heads on it, then I dunno.
The older NSX motor was a C30A which was still a DOHC V6.
Your friend is either trying to fool you or very stupid.
EDIT: Added some comments for non-honda people. Hehe.

yeaa hes probablly playing me, cause we went to the track yesterday n he ran 12.39 with a bad *** launch, n hes **** is N/A, can an LS all motor in a hatch do that? cause i think he might have a VTEC LS motor, but i dont know he dosent wanna pop the hood for no 1, when he does ill ****** a pic n post peace
Well, 12.39 is certainly an impressive time for an LS...hatch or not. I would suspect that it is an LS/Vtec. That would be a great reason he wouldn't pop the hood for you. Seeing the DOHC Vtec valve cover sitting on top would be a dead giveaway. If he was running a straight LS motor, then I'm sure he would have no problem showing you what's under there.
You're sure he's not running some sort of forced induction? Throw a small turbo kit on a LS hatch, and those times come VERY easy. Same with a medium shot of nitrous.
Well, there are a number of possibilities. He could very well have an All Motor LS. Throw in some lumpy cams, and have good headwork, with a high rev limit, and he will have some good power.
The point you made about him not wanting to pop the hood makes me think he has LS/Vtec or some sort of forced induction (i.e.: something immediately visible by popping the hood).

My old D16a6 all stock with 188k miles ran a best of 13.8 with nitrous.. Second time down the track i puked two rods, one out the oilpan and one out the front of the block... Now i am working with a Ls/Turbo.... Man the difference is like night and day.......
