What is the best program to run on a close to stock b16a?
I have a b16a obdo motor in my 90 teg. I want to know what is the best program to run for my motor. I have the basic bolt-ons: exhaust, intake, plug wires, and springs and retainers, port match intake manifold. I am mostly looking for a lower v-tec engagement and no speed govoner. I also would like to know what is the simplest way without having to alter any of the ecu imputs, basically i just want to plug it up and go.

If you have a B16A ecu (PR3 or PWO) I'd have to say, stick with the stock programming since you haven't changed/upgraded the camshafts. but you want a removed speed limiter, so I'd suggest a a Spoon PR3/PW0 program would be best for what you have.
Are you running a non-OBD B16A ecu at all? if not, I suggest you get one.

yes i am running a non-obd ecu already. I want to keep my stock ecu and purchase another one so that I can swap them if I want to smog the car or somthing. Do you have any sugestions in-terms of pw0 or pr3?

I suggest you find a PR3 ecu to be the chipped ecu....those more programs available for the PR3 vs. the PW0.

they should help you out with your choice of which chip to get.
